- ERDC established in 2000.
- Sindh Teachers’ Education Project (STEP) was initiated in 2000.
- ERDC launched its teaching tools in 2001.
- ERDC launched its publications in a mega ceremony attended by an audience of over 600 people at a local hotel in Karachi in 2002.
- ERDC publications received Presidential Award in 2002.
- Assisted District Government Nawabshah in the establishment of their Teachers' Training Centre in the year 2002. Team of master trainers was also developed for this project.
- ERDC offered its short term training programs all over the country in 2003.
- ERDC started its long term comprehensive training program Professional Teachers’ Certificate Course in 2004.
- A seminar on “Changing Faces of Iqbal” was organized in Karachi, attended by over 300 people at a local hotel in Karachi.
- ERDC initiated free academic sessions for teachers on last Friday of every month in 2004.
- ERDC organized a seminar on “What must we do…if we care about education?” attended by over 200 teachers and professionals in 2004.
