It is a series of five activity books that has received Presidential Award for the best children’s literature in 2002. An integrated program for the children of ages 2.5-5.5 years. The curriculum pack provides a strong foundation for the development of Language, Maths and Art during formative years.

Starters Curriculum Pack consists of eight components that are:

• Starter 0 - A Picture and Activity Book : Starter 0 is a picture and activity book for starters. This book is developed for the children of ages 2.5 to 3.5 years. The book is aimed to develop oracy, pre-reading, per-writing skills and to nurture their creative potential through art and craft. For this purpose activities such as picture reading, story telling, painting, drawing, colouring and pasting are introduced.
• Starter 1 - An Integrated Workbook for Starters : This workbook is developed for the children of ages 3 to 5 years. The workbook is developed on the integrated approach of teaching. The basic skills and concepts focused in the book are phonics, letter formation, number value, number formation and art.
• Starter 2 : An Integrated Workbook for Advanced Starters : This workbook is developed for the children of ages 4 to 6 years. This book further emphasizes the concepts taught in the starter’s workbook including phonics, letter formation, number value, number formation and art. The other concepts focused in the book are root, sky and grass letters, colours, opposites and complex (double) sounds.
• Starter Flashcards Set 1 : The two sets of flash cards serve as a teaching aid. The flash cards are developed to promote sight reading through visual aids. Starter’s flash cards have pictures on one side and the beginning letter on the other side. The cards serve multipurpose, they can be used in different activities, can be given to children for study and displayed on the board. Starter’s flash card 1 focuses on the beginning sound of the letters and their related vocabulary.
• Starter Flashcards Set 2 : Starter’s flash cards 2 include the following :
  • Root letters, sky letters and grass letters .
  • Flash cards of numbers.
  • Flash cards of three letters words.
  • Flash cards of opposites.

• Starter Teachers’ Guide (1 and 2) : Starter Teachers’ Guides are developed to help the teachers to teach with the correct approach, present to them variety of teaching strategies and activities. It provides a complete curriculum for the whole year. Especially designed and carefully planned activities provide the opportunities for children to develop essential skills needed in the formative years. The suggested activities are designed on five major areas of early childhood development. These areas are:

• Starter interactive CD : Starter interactive CD is an added feature of the starter’s curriculum pack. The concepts taught in the workbooks are included in a visually attractive and three dimensional forms. The concepts emphasized further in the CD are beginning sounds of the letters and their related vocabulary, poems with background voice, number games and art activities.

Listen to speak provides the most effective and highly practical approach to learn English. It is a set of three audiotapes based on Sindh Textbook Board’s Primary English books. It is equally beneficial for teachers, students, parents and for those who wish to develop their listening and speaking skills in English. The interactive approach maximizes the concentration of listeners and helps in self assessment.

Fehmul Quran is series of eight activity books for classes 1 – 8 to comprehend the language of Quran.

It is tried to incorporate the events related to Prophet Mohammad’s life in a sequential order.
